transferring contacts from old phone to Galaxy..

Hi, I am trying to work out how to transfer my phone contacts from a sony ericsson c902 on 3 network to my lovely new Galaxy S2 on O2 network, and it is not straightforward:
- galaxy will not recognise the 3 sim card so cannot transfer contacts that way
- don't use outlook or similar so can't sync with it
- the phones use different memory cards so cant use them
- the sony ericsson website and pc suite will not recognise a samsung phone

.. I'm stumped    - any ideas?

thank you for the suggestions.. transferring via the sim card is not possible because the Galaxy will not recognise the 3 sim card.

However, both phones have bluetooth and I did persuade the old phone to export all contacts to the Galaxy as a .csv file.. I then spent some time looking for the file, but eventually discovered the Galaxy had just added the contacts to the existing google-synced ones.

My new problem is how to assimilate these two separate sets of contacts - the google ones with the phone ones, they have never previously met! There is tremendous duplication of names, and I suppose some manual editing will be needed. I see no way to speed the process. Hopefully it is a 1-off thing

Well, it seems I have 2,050, but that is only because it has included every email address i have ever sent a message to!

On the whole I think I prefer the Gmail Contacts editing facility, which includes buttons to merge contacts, including one to merge all dupoications (182) though I didn't dare do that!

The Galaxy S2 is awesome..
