Is ther a differant way to capture a screen shot to the method of clicking two buttons similtanaeously?
This method is frustrating!
Must be a better method
Any suggestions
Some apps that do this do not make the buttons on the screen dis-appear
Do not want the buttons in captured photo
Thanks

A lot of people have this problem.
The issue here is not the two buttons but the method people use to hit them.
Most people believe that you need to hit both buttons at the same time but it's not the case.
What you need to do is press and hold the home button then hit and release the power button.

That's actually no longer the case if you've upgraded to ICS. ICS is designed with the assumption there might not be a physical home button.

If you have the old firmware holding home and hitting power does the trick. If you have ICS it's a simultaneous press of power and volume down. As the two buttons are opposite each other it's not that hard to do though, even with my case on.
