I previously had a galaxy s (which got flicked
) for which I had a sennheiser MM50 headphone+mic with 4 pole connector meant for Nokia. This worked perfectly including the single button for call answer, winamp remote, etc.
Now I've just got the Galaxy S2 (GT-I9100 LKAINU) and find that the MX50 does not work with it. I get a full sound only if if I press the single button. Thus it appears that the Mic and ground pins have been interchanged from Galaxy S to Galaxy S2 to make it identical to the iphone
Unfortunately I cant find the original headphone+mic that came along with the galaxy S.
Can anyone confirm this? I would be very disappointed with Samsung if this is the case. Hopefully its the only blemish on what appears to a great superphone.
