Hi all,
My 1st post … and 1st Android OS phone … and 1st Samsung phone after years with WindowsMobile phones (last being hTC Diamond2).

Need some guru assistance …

The issue is with my yahoo mail ( I self-configure it instead of using Yahoo’s application), my settings are :
Type of account : IMAP
Incoming settings>Username : xxxxx (my yahoo username)
>Password : (my yahoo password)
>IMAP server : imap.mail.yahoo.com
>Port : 993
>Security type : SSL (Accept all certificates)
>IMAP path prefix : Optional
Outgoing settings>SMTP server : smtp.mail.yahoo.com
>Port : 465
>Security type : SSL (Accept all certificates)
>Require sign-in : Yes
Issues 1 :
Say, I am using WiFi point A to download my yahoo mail it will downloading all my yahoo mail without problem but when I am using other WiFi point say, B to access my yahoo mail, it will first “delete” all my yahoo mail in my Galaxy S then reload all the mails again !!!

and it happens whenever I am using different WiFi access point to check my yahoo mail which is very annoying.

I have 2 other homail accounts in my Galaxy S (set manually using POP3) which have no issue if I am using difference WiFi point. Any solution on that?
Issue 2 :
I notice unlike WindowsMobile I actually cant view my mail (be it yahoo;hotmail…)offline because whenever I open my mail it seem the phone will trigger a data connection (eventhough I never click Refresh button) is it by nature or what (I already uncheck “Background data option” under settings, why is it so?
Thanks
