Just got my Galaxy S, and am having problem getting my PC to recognized it at all. When I plug the USB connection in, Windows XP brings up the new hardware wizard, instead of automatically detecting a mass storage device. There doesn't seem to be a driver that Windows will accept... I tried manually pointing it towards the usbstor.inf driver. I have also installed Kies and the Samsung USB drivers but that did not help.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi negatory,

Don't really understand what mode you wanted to connect as, but presuming you're trying to connect as Mass Storage Mode, you might want to try #17 from this How, What & Where.

If you have iTunes running (even in the background) try disabling it (go to Task Manager and disable ALL itunes related services). My PC would not recognize my Galaxy Tab until I disabled the multiple iTunes services. Once i did that it came up IMMEDIATELY.
