Hi,

I am a new member. I have searched for answer to my problem, and found this

http://www.samsunggalaxysforum.com/samsung-galaxy-s-how-to/wi-fi-help-please!/

My gt-19000, firmware 2.2... when connecting to wifi networks, now ones it previously connected to, just says "authenticating.....remembered....disabled." but it also has no problem connecting to another WPA PSk network in my office.

Is my only option to do a hard reset or something?

Thank you for any advice,

southernjohn

Is the firmware on the wifi router up to date? I had exactly the same problem (but it only happened some of the time) and I updated my router firmware and everything worked great after that. Just something to try.

I have the same issue "Obtaining IP... Authenticating... Remembered.. Disabled"

I have hard reset, I have taken my battery out, I have reset my phone like 100 times..

When the first upgrade came out it wouldn't work on my phone so I was finally able to upgrade it with the second firmware. It worked before I updated it on the same network and now it won't connect at all.

This phone has been nothing but trouble Crying

I just got a new router and the only way I could connect was using the WPS button even though I had the correct password.

I seem to be having this problem also, I've just got the internet hooked up to a new house, wireless router installed, and it won't connect to it. I'm certain the password is correct, but it won't connect, simply goes through stages mentioned above.

Also, on line for the network, it has a grey circle with an up arrow and a down arrow. Does this affect anything? What does that mean?
