Yesterday I just deleted dalvik cache using root explorer. Did I lose anything?

another problem: when my fone is sleeping there are times it doesnt open. the lockscreen wont appear so i have to long press the open button to reboot or take off the battery. any solution?

Hello softpinkishlips. Cool name!

Please answer these questions:

1. When did this start happening?
2. What phone is it?
3. How did you get one 2.3.4?

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS take advantage of having Google on your phone! Save all contacts to GMail and they never get lost, wiped, replaced etc.

Titanium Backup for apps and data. SMS Backup & Restore for messages.

I have the exact same problem with my phone!! I'm really confused as to what's going on. It's been happening two nights in a row. I wake up because the alarm is still working but there's no lock screen and I have to shut off the alarm by pressing the center button. I'd then have to turn on the phone by holding the power button even though the battery wasn't drained...(no i did not turn off the phone at night)...

How did you upgrade to 2.3.4 JVR? I'm assuming it's stock.

What I suggest is to back everything up, wipe everything and then reflash XXJVR. I assume you used Odin, make sure you use a .pit file and RE-PARTITION is checked. Insert all the other files, put phone into download mode (VOL DWN & MENU & ON), connect to PC and hit start.

Once that completes, wipe everything again.

Roughly, how often do you need to recharge?

Which ROM are you on?
If not on XXJVT, flash it via Odin or Heimdall!
(Having been on custom JVS ROM I had to install this, because of phone FCs).

You have 2 options:
- reflash xxjvr via Odin or Heimdall.
- flash xxjvt!
I prefer flashing jvt to jvr.
