Hi there:

On my new Galaxy S G4 I have been unable to set up my email through Microsoft Exchange.  My phone either tells me that my password or username is incorrect, which is obviously not true, or it tells me it's unable to connect to the server.

Other folks in my office are able to connect with older Droid phones.  But, with my brand new phone, no luck.

I have spoken with T-mobile customer service and with my IT staff, no luck.

Help???

My phone was synching fine when we were using Exchange 2003.  We just upgraded to Exchange 2010.  I have been able to connect it to the new Exchange server, but it only synch's the e-mails that were sent via the Exchange 2003 server.  Everything that came in after that doesn't synch.  Any idea's?   Undecided

Exchange server/ domain administrator needs to make a change to your Active directory account by opening ADUC, selecting View, Adcvanced Features, double clicking your account's property, and going to Security.  From there select Exchange Servers and click on the advanced button.  check the Include inheritable permissions from this object's parent and click ok a couple of times (this is for Exchange/domain admins only).  After that, the phones should start synching again...

I cant get the above done from an Exchange Admin... If someone has a better solution please let me know

Hi Folks,

Its working on my mobile. I just configured it few mins before. No third party app required.
Follow the below steps.
1. Find your  Exchange ActiveSync Server Name
2. Do a manual setup for your exchange account
3. In the field "Domain\Username" enter youralias@domain.com
4. put the Exchange ActiveSync Server Name on the servername field.
5. Press next and you will be good to go now Happy

Thanks
