Hello Forum.

I'm creating this thread, all though the conversation has been started in the Galaxy S Toubleshooting thread.  I'm experiencing this issue on a TMobile Galaxy S 4g so figured it should be here.

Here is the link:
http://www.samsunggalaxysforum.com/samsung-galaxy-s-how-to/error-downloading-app-from-market-there-is-insufficient-space-on-device/

The issue is when attempting to download and install an app large enough (in this case 49MB) market prompt an error that there is insufficient space on the device.

This is a brand new TMobile Galaxy S Android 2.2.1, not rooted.

SD card and Phone storage shows that I have 292MB of available Application storage.  Which should be enough for a 49 MB game.

If any one has a TMobile Galaxy S 4G, please attempt to download and install Third Blade by Com2us.

As I wrote in the other thread, I did try to clear all app cache and data, as well as system cache, still no avail.

I appreciate the help.  Thanks to the Forum!

I have a G S GT19000 and all I needed to do was go to Settings>Applications, find the Market application and select Uninstall Updates for it.

Immediately cured my problem!

Not sure if it will work for all, but seems to be bug in newer version of Market app. If you can“t see the Market app, try installing Elixir2, which will allow you to display System Applications.

Best of luck!
