hi guys,i have verry annoying problem.I have recently dropped my sgs in water,and...since then the start screen keeps flashing when i lock it.it's like every 5 seconds somebody pushes de home button.since the incident i had with the water the other issues i've managed to fix but this thing i just can't.i think i can;t use may warranty,and i so don;t want to take to a specialist before im sure ive done everything i can posibly do myself...can u guys help me?

How deep and how long was it in the water and how many days has it been?

yes,i can use the os...it has been 3 days aprox...it was in the water like,1 sec....just fell(and only with the bottom half of it)and i quickly lifted it up.The stupid thing now is that my bottom buttons stopped  working(the home button works but very hard).oh,and sorry i if dont know how to use this site,im 1 day old here,ill do better...thanks anticipately:D

It may not have been wise to use the phone right after the water damage.

If you had left the phone to dry for 5 days in the sun you may have had no damage at all.

Now though damage has been done.

A wet circuit will just short itself out, and the only way to fix that is to replace the circuit.

You are lucky that most the the main board is on the upper part of the screen and a secondary board run down to underneath the battery not behind underneath.

Now it may be a simple fix as just replace that board. Try going to SCS tell them the buttons stopped working, the device should still be under warranty do not indulge the water part to them.

i did not now the part with not opening it after the incident.i previously had an sony ericsson k810i and it fell into the sea.i did just as i did with sgs and i still have it right now with no problems after 3 years or so.anyway,if i no longer have the varanty,how much would it cost the circuit replacement?(if you posibly have a clue)tanks again for your help:D
