sounds and programmes kep stopping

my galaxys has developed an annoying fault it was fine till recent and now after a couple of days thing stop working ie .. my notifications are muted and the video says it cant record also you tube cannot play this fav video so i have to turn it off and restart it and presto all is ok but hrs or days even weeks later it does it again i even tried deleting all recent downloaded apps tones etc and did a factory reset but the fault is still there i am on froyo simfree and never rooted thanks in advance guys foot note ....the notification prob seems to be only with my own mp3s but i have had them since july last year with no probs

The problem you're mentioning seems to be related to the playback of media files, also being discussed here:

Long story short, try uninstalling the Twitter app, restart your phone, and see if that resolves your problem.

well thanks mate removing tweeter seems to have done the trick will keep eye on it
