couple of things. I use that neat Samsung app - the connect the dots screen lock thingy rather than a password screen lock but none the less - few things are infallible, so ...
I use my Galaxy S for work and have a GMail account as my business email which syncs to my phone. My concern is if i lose my phone or it gets stolen. I can't find a mechanism that allows me to choose password login to my gmail account from the phone. Which means anyone able to access my phone can access my Gmail account and wreak havok, not to mention access confidential details from clients. Does anyone know how to choose manual login (password) for accessing Gmail from Galaxy S?
also, i would not like anyone accessing my txt messages (i keep all of them - it lets me access all my converstaions with clients form day 1 - sequentially) nor accessing my contacts and all their details. I've been looking at Kaspersky Mobile Security 9. In part as protection from malware etc but mainly for it's ability to disable the phone, wipe it clean of personal data and perhaps find it on google maps (though i much prefer Navigon for accuracy). I am wondering if anyone has used this software and if so - how do you find it? Does it also wipe data from the external Micro SD Card< or just the internal SD Card?
are there any other isues i should be aware of ?
