Hello, all...

I've had this Galaxy S Vibrant from Bell for about a month now... and had to hard-reset it a half dozen times.

After a reset, it works fine... the Social Hub / Samsung email syncs both my Live Account and my Gmail account.

Then, after a day or two, it stops working.... I can't get any mail, can't add a new account, can't do ANYTHING with the accounts I have added.

I've tried researching this for days... found a few others with similar problems, but no solutions.
I've gotten no response from customer support for a week.

Anyone got any ideas? 
I'm getting close to saying 'Screw it', and trading it in for an iPhone.

What are you installing after your reset? It sounds like you have a conflict. I've have my SGS with Bell since August and have had no problems like that.

This latest attempt, I've installed nothing but the Social Hub update off the Samsung App.

Last go was:

Google Maps
Dolphin Browser
Home Switcher
PowerAmp
Barcode Scanner
Angry Birds
Advanced Task Killer
Launcher Pro
Smooth Calendar
IMDb Movies & TV
Google Earth

from the Android Market

And

Facebook for Samsung

I'm having the same issue and it's driving me crazy. I find that if I delete the data in samsung email and re-add the accounts it starts working, for a while then dies again.

Something must be coming on that is conflicting with an email process but I can't figure out what it is.

Would love to get this resolved.

What is home switcher? Is it possible that the task killer is doing something? I don't have either of those. Are you running Launcher Pro instead of Touchwiz? What if you don't run Launcher Pro (I don't know why this would make a difference, I'm asking questions in case something twigs.)

Home Switcher is an app to easily switch between different UI (Launcher).

I'm also using LauncherPro and it does not cause the issue mentioned above.

Actually my Social Hub and Samsung email didn't work together until I upgraded to Froyo, then it was slick and wonderful. Maybe try downloading from Samsung apps again and seeing if it resolves.

Well, the above problems seemed to sort themselves out after Froyo.
Unfortunately, now the phone keeps locking up solid and not letting me turn it on.
This happened a couple times pre-Froyo, and now a couple times post-Froyo.
And, of course, now it won't connect to Kies at ALL to re-update the OS.

I'm done with it.
It's going back, and getting replaced with a Desire Z, or maybe an iPhone4.
