I tried asking Samsung...and they worite me that they're looking into it. That was 1 week ago.
My social hub doesn't work, the icon is obviously empty since I have to sign up for it (I do, right?). I tried signing up on Samsung Social Hub's website, using my samsungmobile's userid, but it doesn't recognize it. So I tried signing up as if I were a new user, but it says that my phone's IMEI code has already been registered. I can't think of how to fix this.
How did all of you start using social hub? Thanks for any help you can give me!  Kiss

I didn't sign into anything on line. I just started adding accounts. There was an insert with my phone that gave directions - I can't believe I found it. It says:

Activate your online accounts onto your device in three easy steps.

1) Find a list of your preferred portals and social networking sites under settings -> accounts and Sync.
2) Select the portal or SNS site you wan to access and enter your ID and passworkd
3) Choose how to synchronize each account with your messages, contacts and calendar automatically.

I think I added gmail first then when you open gmail you can tap the menu button and press accounts. Then press the menu button again and you'll get the option to add accounts which starts a wizard.

Hope this helps:)

Thanks! But...no go..It only added my compnay exchange account, and none of the others. If they don't get added by themselves...I don't know how to add them. I have, for example, in the settings - synch: facebook and twitter, plus my exchange email. It only added my email and not FB or twitter. In synch, all phases are checked to synch...but nothing. Is there anything I should do directly from the Social Hub? Maybe the problem is that I have Twitter for android and FB for android apps (downloaded from the android app store..). Can't think of anything alse.

for more email accounts - open your exchange account
Press the menu button (button left of center hard button)
Press the Accounts square in the pop up menu (you'll see the combined in box with one account)
Press the menu button again
Press Add Account - you will get a wizard that starts by saying - you can set up email blah blah.

I have the option of having twitter in my social hub but don't want it. If you do then
Settings -> Accounts and Sync. Press on twitter (or facebook)and put a check mark next to sync twitter data.

I don't use Social Hub because I don't like it. Instead, I use TweetDeck which is a far superior social networking app.

I'm using Twitter for Andoid but...it bothers me that I can't get Social Huib to work!
I tried going through all the steps, and even cancelling the account and re-putting it in, checking all the boxes. The difference is that now on the icon I see a teeny Twitter icon...but when I click on the Social Hub icon...I only keep seeing email. My own and my exchange. No Twitter. Darn!!  Crying

I found it I found it....

You have to go into Applications > Samsung Apps > Samsung Social Hub enable Push (or something like that, now I've installed it it doesn't show up any more)

It will put two new icons on your phone, Samsung IM and Samsung Email.

I was just interested in the IM so I went in and added my IM clients.

Afterwards you can go into Settings > Accounts and Sync > Add account and then Yahoo and Windows Live and Google Talk etc. will show up on the list. Then you can go back to your Contacts list and get everyone to show up there.

It is a very very roundabout way to do things and I can't believe I actually figured it out.  Sticking out tongue

Nice work and thanks for sharing:) The social hub is fragmented Crying . I can't get messaging to show up in the samsung email hub and can't get yahoo mail to (easily) work in social hub but they're all set up and notifying.
