I've had problems with my carrier so subsequently I am about to port to another, in doing so I need to return the phone as I can get a new one with the new carrier. My problem lies in I'm trying to save my phone numbers to my pc via Kies but when I attempt to do so the only contacts that show up are 3, yes three only email address.

Email addresses are of no consequence to me on the phone (I have them all on my pc) but the numbers are vital due to being work related, what do I need to do to  save them to my pc before I hand the phone back, I have limited days to get this sorted.

Where are the phone numbers ??? I am baffled by this phone and my lack of  knowledge that I'm experiencing with it.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Cheers

In such a situation I find doing jumping Jacks help alot.

Shakes up and gives you perspective that was missing.

Ofcourse instead you could just do the following:

Goto Contacts,

Click the Left LED Hardware Button to pull the Extra Menu

Click On Import/Export.

Click on Export to SDCard.

Mount your phone on Mass Storage Mode.

Copy this file to your Computer.

Then you may actually feel like doing jumping jacks in Joy  Sticking out tongue

When you want to Restore the Contacts Repeat the Steps and instead of Export to SDCard click Import From SDCard.

I don't have my phone anymore so the wording may differ but you should get the jist of it.

Peace.

Thanks for your responses. The eventual outcome...the young assistant at the new carrier's shop sorted it all for me. He moved the numbers to the sim card, putting that into the new phone and transferring the numbers to the phone itself before the old sim went offline.

The only problem after that was removing the numbers from  the old phone which I finally did one - b y - one as I could not find any other way to do this.

Again thanks, problem resolved.
