Ive only had my new samsung fascinate for a matter of hours and ive already managed to delete an entire row of perhaps the only widgets worth keeping- to the trash. Or at least I guess thats where they went because one minute they were there and the next the row was gone. Navigator, GPS, whatever came installed with the phone that was in that bottom row, 3rd page. Im wondering how the hell I get all of this back. It should be as simple as rooting through the trash bin to recover them, but alas, its never that easy. I understand that no widgets can be deleted unless I root my phone, so where might I look next? There is probably already a topic discussing this issue but I cant find anything. Be nice please!

Try long-press on an empty space of your desktop, then selecting either [Samsung Widgets] or [Widgets] and see whether they're in there.

Tried that, no luck. I was downloading an alarm clock widget at the time, and in the bottom right corner of (some) widgets, there was a red circle with a white rectangle in it. Looked like a road sign. I recall just simply swiping my finger to scroll to the next page and instead I erased them. Thank you for your help anyway. Ill call support today and figure it out.

Which screen are you at? TouchWiz or your application pages?

If you don't mind a factory re-set, it'll bring you back to it's original stage.

I ended up just downloading the google maps application again in the apps market so I could get my Latitude, Maps, Navigation and Places apps back since those were what went missing. I didnt exactly "solve" the problem but I know now to be more careful. Thanks for your help.
