My SGS is very unreliable on email, and I have both WiFi and 3G active, and in strong WifI signal area.
I have 1 x POP3 account and 1 x Exchange account.
Often when I try to open a mail ... I get a total freeze of phone, even power off will not work.
After a while (a long while) there is an error ‘buzz’ and I get the following error window
Application email (process com.android.email) has stopped unexpectedly [Force close]Or
Activity email (in process email) is not responding .. [Force close or quit]I have carried out h/w reset, cache wipe and removed SD card ... still the same.
It’s running standard ver 2.2
Frequently - on boot up SGS will sound an error ‘buzz’ at end of sequence.
Is there an alternative email app I could consider the standard app seems very flaky, or is this what I should expect with Android (first Android phone)
