I think the flash is pretty good and strong. It's pretty useful for many things.

It has flash on the camera but I don't know about the program Flash.

The Samsung Galaxy S has not yet been seen with a flash.

There have been some claims about a flash online (and not from anyone who might be "in the know" either), but the Samsung Galaxy S review units at CTIA 2010 in March did not have a camera flash, and the Samsung spec sheet for the phone does not list one either.

That said, the Samsung press release photos for the Galaxy S do NOT include any pictures of the rear of the device, making it possible that they're considering integrating an LED flash into the final production unit.

But we need to end this rumor now: the Samsung Galaxy S does not currently have a camera flash that we are aware of, and you should not expect to see the device ship with a flash.

Where's the optical mouse?  If it doesn't come with one how easy is it to backspace to correct spelling?  I'm so used to my G1's mouse.

No optical mouse. It's a hardware "home" button.

Thanks.  Is it a four way rocker switch with a center button?

Nope, just a button. Looks like they expect all navigation to be done via the touchscreen.

There's 3 buttons at the bottom. 2 of them are just touch sensitive while the middle one is tactile based.

Left side is menu - basically it opens up options for where ever you are on the screen.

Middle tactile button is Home - brings you back to hoem sweet home of widgets and screens

Right side is back buttom - basically go backs previously to where you were on the phone.

Hope that answers the questions

Thanks everyone.  Hopefully, with a bigger screen than the G1 I'll be able to correct a word by touching the spot with my fat finger.
