I take a picture & save it on internal memory.  I take another one & change storage location to store on External micro SD card.  Both pictures can be seen in Gallery in 2 different stacks.  So Far so good.  If I then go to my files the only pictures that I can see are those on the SD card.  I can't seem to reach the other location.

Should I be able to see the picture stored in phones memory?  Can I move picture from one storage area to the other?

And as for the cards themselves some settings show both internal & external memory locations.  Is the phones main internal memory also just another SD card?

Thanks in advance

The internal memory is a flash circuit based memory, just like your SDcard. The external card is a folder in the common file structure under the internal card.

Pictures your camera takes locate inside a DCIM\Camera-folder which can be either on the internal or external memory. I can see the both of them folders via MyFiles.

And yes, you can copy the pictures the way you want.  Wink Wink

I can see pictures using 'my files' in the manner you suggested.  But I can only see files that are on the 'mmt/sdcard/external_sd' location.  How do I get to see those stored on the phone itself?  I also don't see any option for either moving or renaming the files.
