I have almost had it with this absolute piece of crap from Samsung!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!

As per the title, all of a sudden I noticed I had no 3G service, so I checked my APN settings and they were there 1 second then gone the next!

Anyway now when I go to put them back in, they won't save!

What the hell is wrong with this utter piece of crap from Samsung!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously!!!!!!!!

OK after a lot of playing I have found something out.... The APN settings will not save if I change the MNC to 02, which my provider needs.

These are my provider APN's:

Name: Virgin Internet
APN: VirginInternet
Proxy:
Port:
Username:
Password:
Server:
MMSC:
MMS proxy:
MMS port:
MCC: 505
MNC: 02
APN type: default

These are the details for the MMS one:

Name: Virgin MMS
APN: VirginMMS
Proxy:
Port:
Username:
Password:
Server:
MMSC: http://mms.virginvibe.com.au:8002
MMS proxy: 202.139.83.152
MMS port: 8070
MCC: 505
MNC: 02
APN type: mms

I have them saved now my having the MNC set to default which is 029, so of course they are there now in my phone, but not working.

As soon as I change the MNC to 02, they dissapear?

Weird as this was working fine yesterday.

I solved it myself, sort of, I restored my phone from the recovery menu and now it works... just have to reinstall everything now! Thank God for AppSync!
