Try downloading a different player like mixzing or winamp. You can also check your songs filenames sometimes if theyre too long the player may be having trouble with it.

Where has the MP3's been sourced and how did you transfer them?

If they are copyrighted and you simply drag n dropped into the phone memory the licence will not have been copied to the phone, in which case you will need to use Media Player or similar to sync the tracks to your phone, it will also carry the licence over to your phone and they should play without a problem.

If its not that, try copying one of the tracks to a pc and try playing with media player, to see if they are possibly corrupted.

I have just bought a brand new Galaxy S and put my collection of music files on a 16GB SD card. Strange is that the player is recognizing some, but not all of the music on the card and I have no idea what the criteria/problem is. The same problem occurs with different players (I also installed winamp and 2 others, so it appears to be a problem of the phone, not of the player).

Any idea?

- all files in mp3
