Hey guys,
I'm doing an exchange year right now in the USA.

Before I got here I bought the Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9000 in Germany back in July.

But yesterday I dropped so the front side with the display is now damaged and broken, like deep scratches and so on.

How can I handle the replacement now. Should I call Samsung and they will replace the display?

On eBay I've seen the display for about $70. Or should I buy that one and let a shop fix it for me?

Please help me, BTW the phone still works normally.

I would check to see how much Samsung will charge to fix it but it's probably less expensive to purchase the part on ebay then take it to a tech for repair.

sorry to hear about that but at least the electronics still work.
