Hi,

I just want to ask, if you have any idea how to resolved this problem. My phone keeps giving me a notification that I'm always on roaming even if I am on my local network.

Thank you in advance

Depending on network operators, you can be Roaming all the time if the netwerk operator is "leasing the line" from a bigger network operator. If you are roaming when you think you are local, and you set the Roaming option off, and immediately you can't use the internet and phone/sms, it's probably that construction. If your phonebill always looks normal, you don't need to be afraid, except if you go abroad, then you'd better watch out with your calls and 3G use.

I have the same problem with roaming, but I have to dial the area code when making a local call. The local Sprint store can't fix it.

Have you checked your settings?

SETTINGS > WIRELESS & NETWORKS > MOBILE NETWORKS > DATA ROAMING

Try it with that box unchecked.

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS take advantage of having Google on your phone! Save all contacts to GMail and they never get lost, wiped, replaced etc.

Titanium Backup for apps and data. SMS Backup & Restore for messages.

If you have any questions, please do a search before posting a new thread and if you can't find anything, then try to put the new thread into the correct forum.
