Not sure if this is applicable for all settings but you can change the handset name under bluetooth settings when bluetooth is enabled.

settings >>> wireless and network >>>bluetooth settings >>> turn on bluetooth, then in the same menu you see 'device name'

You log-in to Android Market using (by default) the E-mail address and password of your Gmail account, same as for all apps on your phone (Googla Talk, Contacts and Calendar sync, etc). Maybe "zxszzxxszzzxssz" is your Gmail address or the name you entered when you have created that E-mail address.

Hope this helps.

Try this:

Go to Contacts -> press Menu -> My profile. Put your personal data there and see if it works.

Hope this helps.

once i've set an unlock pattern, then go to unlock the phone, just about the pattern grid, says "This phone belongs to"  but no name. Is there any way to set this?

Tried the above mentioned method. But still nothing appears. Please advice how to set this.

Thanks

This should fix everyones issues.  Log into gmail on a desktop then click settings=>accounts and imports=>edit info under send mail as:   That should do it.  Let me know if it works.  I was just in there and it should fix everything.

No it does not help at all. As mentioned when you press the power button it will say  "this phone belongs to..." before you swap the pattern to on the phone. i just need the phone to show that it belongs with my name. How do I put my name there? Please help....it is really very fustrating.

You have an anti-virus installed and that name appears on that anti-virus. Change the registered name in the anti-virus program.

Hope this solves it.
