You'll have to root your phone. Once rooted, download SGS Tools from the Market where you can manually uninstall apps. But be careful what you uninstall and know what you are uninstalling and don't just randomly uninstall stuff.

Facinating that a carrier would include religious materials as part of the "bloatware". I would remove one at a time and use for awhile before deleting the next application. If it doesn't offend you simply be existing, you can use LauncherPro to remove icons from being visible even in the applications menu then you don't have to root.

You will not be able to find rooting apps on market unfortunately and SGS Tools was removed because the developer doesn't have time to continue to improve it. If you join XDA developers you'll be able to download the appropriate root tool for your device. I used SuperOneClick 1.5.5 ShortFuse, it was very easy. You have to be able to connect to a windows computer but it does all the rebooting for you so you don't have to use the 3 button mode.

Rooting voids your warranty.

Hi,

1. You need "Samsung_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_phones" installed on your PC.
2. SuperOneClickv1.6.5-ShortFuse.zip to download than unzipp to (e.g.) Desktop.
3. On phone: settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging to check.
4. go back to homescreen.
5. Plug in your phone to the USB port of your PC.
6. Run "SuperOneClick.exe" and waiting.
7. Plug off your phone from PC.
8. That's all.

(Pls. watch the video!)

1. Grab "Root Explorer" from Market!
2. open RE. and hit "R/W" then go /system/app, scroll down to the application, long tap on it and select "delete".
You should do it very carefully, of course!
You need to know what to do!!
