Hey everyone,

First post and hopefully a fairly easy problem.

I have my phone set to save contacts to SIM, when I first started using it, the contacts would be saved to the SIM and show up immediately in my contact list. The phone is a Galaxy S Vibrant GT-I9000M.

A few days ago, the phone crashed, all my settings seem to be reset to default. I was messing around in Kies so the crash was probably my fault.

Now, when I save a new contact, I have to open the menu in the contact list and import from my SIM or the new contact doesn't show up in the list. So, the phone still works and contacts are being saved, just the list is not auto-updating from the SIM. Any way to get this back?

Thanks in advance, and hope to learn a lot more about this phone on these forums!
edit: added phone model

Bump

Still haven't fixed it, there's got to be a way to set your contact list to read from the SIM instead of phone memory..
