You could probably delete your email account on your phone and re-create it with the new password.

Hello,

My workplace requires us to change our Exchange password every X days so I changed it on the server (via a web portal) but now can't find how to update the phone to know about the new password.

Digging the forums I found this: http://www.samsunggalaxysforum.com/samsung-galaxy-s-how-to/how-to-change-email-%28hotmail%29-password-2066/ but no answer was given there.

Sorry if I repeat a frequent question, but I couldn't find an answer anywhere.

Thanks.

Can you try this:

In your email app, press the Menu button and select [More]...

Then, [Account settings]...

Scroll down a little and select [Incoming settings]...

And change your Password there...

Do the same for [Outgoing settings] if you have a password for it too.

Thanks very much!

Using your instructions I found the "Incoming Settings" menu entry and updated the password, but I don't see an "Outgoing Settings" entry in that menu.

I'm running the official Froyo 2.2 from Vodafone Australia.

What version did you get the screenshots from?

If it works, then no need for that.

I'm on Froyo too.

Take a look Here, bottom of first post.  Wink Wink

But it doesn't work Crying.

I can now read e-mails and composing new messages doesn't complain when I press "send", but messages sent from the phone just never arrive anywhere.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Hi, I changed my hotmail password online and now can't access on my phone. Have tried the tips above in the screen shots but still says password incorrect. I then deleted the account from my phone with the intention of setting up a new one with the correct password but now when I try the set up it still says password incorrect. Any ideas would be much appreciated, thanks.

I was having the same problem.  Finally figured it out.  Go into email and click on the menu button.  Select "Settings" then scroll down under Server Settings and click on "Exchange Server Settings".  This brings up a window that allows you to change your password.
