Hi all,

I am from Brazil and I have the Samsung Galaxy S upgraded from android 2.1 to Froyo 2.2. Everything went well, but after that, my panorama photos are not viewed in the gallery until the media is scanned again or the phone restarted.

Does anyone have a fix for this?

Hello and welcome to the forums!

Photos normally take a while to register in the gallery. Even regular one's take a while to load and I also have to exit and check every so often. A quicker way to access the pics would probably be through your file explorer. Just open it and go to the designated folder where your pics are stored (normally labelled DCIM).

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, but I dont think this is a normal behavior, because before the upgrade deom android 2.1 to 2.2 this had never happened.

I also noticed that this only occurs with complext photos, such as self-portrait, panorama, two pics together and animated effects. Normal photos appear immediatly.

I also waited a long time and the photo didnt appered. The only way was re-mounting the media.

Do you have any idea to solve this?

I think it's a normal problem because I've also upgraded to 2.2 and I have this issue so it probably has something to do with how gallery works in 2.2. Again, file explorer would probably be quicker.
