I saw a fix for increasing volume posted at http://www.samsunggalaxysforum.com/tutorials/how-what-where/msg5203/#msg5203  Nothing happened when I typed those characters in.  I would like to increase volume for playing music via the 3.5mm jack (if that can be done w/o distorting the sound).  When I play mp3's or Pandora in the car, it just doesn't get very loud.  Not nearly as loud as sat radio

I too am having difficult y getting my headphones louder. Followed the same link weeks ago, I assume it is for increasing phone volume and not headphone jack but I toyed with headset, handset, speaker numbers. I cannot figure it out either.

I know this is silly but once you plug the headphone/aux cable in, did you try the volume up button to see if that makes any change or to see if it's already on max?

@mhester1: What firmware are you running?

@luladivinia: Did you try selecting HEADSET and increasing the volume in that option?

@giluriel: There are other options but that requires rooting.

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS take advantage of having Google on your phone! Save all contacts to GMail and they never get lost, wiped, replaced etc.

Titanium Backup for apps and data. SMS Backup & Restore for messages.

If you have any questions, please do a search before posting a new thread and if you can't find anything, then try to put the new thread into the correct forum.
