If entering *#*#1472365#*#* clears the screen as if nothing was entered in the first place, try *#3214789650#.

You guys rock!!!  Laugh

I'm from spain, my service provider is YOIGO.

I entered the settings using *#3214789650#

In App Settings my choice is: OPERATION MODE=STANDALONE
In SUPL/CP Settings: Server=www.spirent-lcs.com Server Port=7275

Now the GPS works like charm. No reboot was needed.

THANKS A LOT.

Using GT-I9000
Android version 2.2
Build : FROYO.BUJP7
Location : Brussels (Europe)

Couldn't get GPS locking in a stable way.
Have tried in LbsTestMode :
Operation Mode : both "standalone" and "MS Based"
Server : supl.google.com  port 7276 ; also tried : www.spirent-lcs.com port 7275

No luck and no lock   Crying

Question 1:
Does the GPS functionality work without a DATA connection/subscription to an ISP ?
(I switched off "Wireless networks" in Settings, prior to each change in LbsTestMode, switched OFF the phone, switched it back on (effectively rebooting), and switched "Wireless Networks" back on)

Question 2:
Can anyone confirm whether LbsTestMode is a core interface between the hardware and all apps using GPS ?
And if so, are there any buggy versions around ? As previously stated, I'm running a stock FROYO.BUJP7.

Additional info:
Using App GPS Test, I obtain sometimes a couple of satellites "In View", but none "In Use".

Settings in LbsTestMode:
Application Settings:
Session type=Tracking
Test Mode=S/W Test
Operation Mode=Standalone
Start Mode=Hot start
GPS Plus=ON
Dynamic Accuracy=ON
Accuracy=50
GPS Logging=OFF

SUPL/CP Settings
Server FQDN Type = Custom Config
Server= supl.google.com
Server port=7276
SUPL Secure Socket=OFF
AGPS Mode=SUPL

(Have also tried several times to Delete GPS Data)

Hope someone experienced the same, and found a solution...

Hi. I am new here. I have both galaxy S and Tab. I have improved the gps on galaxy S but seems like the same guide cannot be used on galaxy tab. Missing is the dialer Crying I have searched on galaxy tab forum but no such guide for it. Please help. Both Amaze and Maverick gps does not detect the presence of gps. Even in Google map, galaxy tab can hardly lock to any satelite signal. Thanks.

HI, I am new so Im sorry if this has already been resolved. I read a bunch of post and havent found an answer that works for me. I tried  *#*#1472365#*#*  and that didnt work, screen kept going clear, so I tried *#3214789650# and I get a message that says " unable to process request"...

do you have any more suggestions. my gps is off by over a 1000 miles.
