Yesterday my samsung galaxy s 4g stopped working right after I hanged up the call. Screen went blacked and non of the keys were responding. So, I took off the battery and rebooted the phone. It come back, but phone couldn't find t-mobile network. there was only "searching" message on the screen. When I went to wireless and network setting and clicked on mobile networks I got message that I have to insert sim card in order to register to that services.
I took off my sim card, put it into my second galaxy s 4g and it worked. The other card in my phone still did not. Same error. But there was no icon on top saying that there is no sim card. I connected phone to eclipse and found message saying that system is waiting for sim card to became ready.
I left the phone without sim card for the night and today morning I noticed there is "no sim card" icon on top bar. So, I inserted sim card and everything is working now.
My question is: what was that? I did not drop the phone, did not drown it or something...
Now I'm not sure if I should contact t-mobile or samsung and let them know about it. And what if it will happened in the future.
Does anyone had similar problem with this phone?
It's wired to have phone that can stop working at any time without reason...
