Hello.  This is my first post.  I have a Samsugn Mesmerize from USCellular.  It came with android 2.2.1.  I got two of them, for both lines.  Both would miss calls, and one could not send picture messages and could rarely send a text message.  My phone only had the missing calls problem (in full reception areas, and the phone would not ring).  I would only know I missed a call if I got a voicmail or if the person called back later - upset and asking why I didn't answer.  I missed some work  calls as well, which are the most troublesome.  Both of the phones were exchanged for new ones, and both phones still miss calls.  I have done google searches and found that many, many people are experiencing this. 

I am curious to know what you guys think about these issues?  It seems to happen on the Fascinate as well, not just the Mesmerize.   Samsung and USCellular both refuse to answer questions and just say "send it in for repair"  and "we have not heard of that", even though I know they get complaints daily (I know of at least 5 people that have complained of it to them).  Do you think it will be fixed?  Is there anything we can do?

My phone should work as a phone first and foremost, who cares about all the other gadgets if it can't receive phone calls  HUH?

Nobody brave enough to post huh?  I know you all have the issue, I have two lines and have tried 4 phones, and all 4 missed calls.  My friends with the phone have missed calls as well.  That is 100% of Samsung Galaxy S phones missing calls.  Thanks in advance for comments, advice, tips, or any input.

please list what you see.

Everyone has a different skill set on this forum the fact that you calling some brave or not doesn't help.

Thanks for responding.  I see nothing when I dial that, I just get a recording.  Uscellular reps are finally admitting there is a problem that is being addressed.  They say it's their highest priority.  So I guess I will wait and see what that does, if they release a fix. 

Just for clarification, the "brave" comment was not calling people out, it was mostly a joke.  I'm just didn't expect 260+ views by people with the same phone and same issues, to view the post and not offer their 2 cents.

I'm having about the same problem. But not only the missed calls. When I'm calling or someone is calling me the connection just drops. I called Vodafone about this error because it started since I have a new contract at them. They are looking if it could be the network.

I'll keep you posted. If anyone ellse has the solution I would be glad to hear! Happy

I thought I responded to this message, it seems the Post Button lagged out on me.

I wanted to know which model phone you have you can check if you goto System-> About.

List what it says under Model.
