Galaxy S crashes router.

Im hoping you guys can help me before i return this phone and orser a iphone4 instead.

yesterday had my Galaxy S delivered (always been iphone, thought i'd try something different).

Im having this odd problem. When the Galaxy S attempts to connect to the router by wifi it will completely hang the router and I have to reboot it. I know it cant be the router because my laptop, iphone, HTC desire, xbox360, Wii, PS3 and BD theatre all work perfectly.

Some specs :-

Samsung Galaxy (stright out the box, andriod 2.1).

Belkin N1 wireless router.
wireless channel: 6 (also tried 1 as i read that might help!)
wireless mode: 11b+g+n
bandwidth 20+40mhz
security: WPA + WPA2 (PSK) with TKIP + AES encryption

pleeeeease help as i think this could be a great phone if it wasnt for this.

sorry, forgot to say, SSID is broadcasting, and the SGS did ask me for the password(psk). I just tried pulling the battery and rebooting phone and modem but its still doing it every time i hit "turn on wifi" on the SGS

nope, just tried and still the same with security disabled/just WPA/just WPA2/both WPA + WPA2/64bit WEP and 128bit WEP.

Wifi status on phone just says Disconnected and in the list of Wifi networks, under mine it just says remembered
