I haven't gotten it to go (I had trouble getting windows to go into recovery mode back in the day as well). Is there a program I can install to get into recovery mode? Start Kies, connect your device and click "Upgrade Firmware". If it shows "The device can't be upgraded...bla bla bla", continue with steps 2 ~ 4. 2. Close the upgrade window, but leave Kies connected. 3. Download This Registry for your PC and apply it by double clicking it. 4. Apparently there was a fault in the secondary bootloader. I did use 3 buttons to get into the choice screen then just rebooted.
