Can you give us more info, pls ?

-What applications did you install on the phone ?
-when did you update your  phone ?

My phone was slower after update to Froyo, but a factory reset did the job.

If it's rooted you can use Titanium backup before you factory reset.

You could try pulling the battery for 10 minutes then restarting. It certainly can change the status of your device and will hopefully bring it around.

same problem here
i tryed the 10 minutes w/o battery - no effect
because mose of the freezes come originate in yahoo mail app, i tried to use the already-installed email app, but i cant seem to get it to work (yahoo/imap)
i googled a bit and found out there are a lot of ppl who share this problem, but no answer for it, just a bunch of cloned pages

any ideeas?

thx

I had the same problem when I used the yahoo email app. It does say it doesn't work properly on the SGS. I ended up using Samsung email/social hub when I updated to Froyo. Yahoo works just fine with it.

i tried to setup the yahoo mail (imap) on the "email" app, but for some reason, i cant make it work
i googled and found an explanation ( http://www.gadgeteasy.com/samsung-galaxy-s-tips-set-up-pop3-and-imap-email-accounts/ ) but my phone doesnt have all those options...

maybe i'm just not getting it right
i could make print screens of all the steps that i have to make, if u want me to

Thx
