Guys, can anyone tell me what has actually happened?

I've changed my Gmail on the net and apparently I need to do Factory Reset to get rid of the old Gmail which always prompt me for password. So I've done it and problem solved.

The system looks the same BUT there's something different after I've done Factory Reset. The interface is a bit different as if I downgraded to Eclair but the info shows I'm still on Froyo. Finally, I saw my Kernel Version is 2.6.32.9 root@SE-S604 #1. Does this means my phone has been rooted?

Everything looks like Eclair's interface such as when we connected to PC, Froyo got Android on the screen unlike Eclair's, just plain USB icon.

If possible I wanna get my full Froyo back!!! Please help!!!  Crying

Doing a factory reset should not root your phone unless you were trying to root earlier or had it rooted earlier.

An easy way to see if you have Froyo installed is to hold the power button until you get the phone options pop up. If the data network mode is an option, you are on Froyo because that wasn't available on eclair.

I just did a factory reset myself and the only difference I saw between Froyo and eclair was there was the yellowish picture on eclair and the purpleish picture on froyo.
