Hi sitting here confused and worried and seeking some advice.
Backed up my contacts on my sim card and done a factory reset through my galaxy s menu and when restarted i get up this message

Have done factory resets in the past and always went past the install default apk-files. please wait stage and rebooted the galaxy s ok.
Have tried to do volume up and home and power button to recover but keeps coming up with the above message and hense saying # manual mode #.
Running froyo 2.2 and only ever updated using the samsung kies software.
Hoping some kind person out there can shed some info on this and how to get my phone working again.
