Since day one my device has email connection errors with accessing my hotmail account. It almost never will connect and if it does happen to get to my inbox if an email has embedded photos it gives connection errors. I have tried every recommendation on every message board and to date nothing has worked. I have also installed a hotmail app that basically is a shortcut using my browser to get into my email and it even has trouble - most of the time it won't download photos or any sort of attachment. I have just 'lived' with this since July. Read a lot of posts about issues with email seems there may be bugs that haven't been worked out. Also read recently where hotmail is no longer supported by certain mail formats - could this be the problem?
Then 2 weeks ago it started giving me a network connection error. This happens when trying to use browser, youtube, Pandora, radio apps, hulu, and just about anything that connects to the internet. It never did this before, it just started happening out of the blue. No recent apps loaded.
New this week - The device started to randomly shut itself off - even with a full battery. No warning - it shuts down while in sleep or low power mode. I will go to use it for something and find it has shut off at some point in the day on its own.
Last weekend the device reset its own sound levels - amid using an app that was playing sounds. It suddenly went silent. I could barely hear something coming out of the speaker but system sounds were loud. Located the string to enter to rest the factory sound levels. That helped, but the bigger question is why did it just randomly freak out?
Should I just give up and return this as a defective unit? Any help is appreciated!!
