First post and all that...
I have an unbranded SGS (from CPW), updated via Kies to 2.2.1. Loving it so far, but there's one small issue that I haven't been able to resolve - namely that the contact history screen is not showing (almost all) the emails and text messages it should.
I've tried various tests using contacts from different accounts (Google, Windows Live), plus locally stored contacts. In each case, at the contact level, phone calls show up in the history, but emails and text messages do not. The View By option is set to Show All.
To make it a little more confusing, there's a difference between what I see at the all contacts screen (History) vs. the History for a single contact. For example, I had a text message exchange with a friend yesterday (who is in my contacts list) - this shows up on the History screen for all contacts, but not on the History screen for the specific contact the texts were with. As far as emails are concerned, none of the in or outbound emails involving my contacts show up in any history screen. However, a couple of emails to my google account (from addresses that are not in my contacts) do show up in the history screen on the all contacts page.
It's not the end of the world, and I guess I could hard reset and reinstall/setup everything again, but I just wondered if anyone had come across anything like this?
