I have just got a Galaxy S and am trying to connect it to my Linux computer. I have selected Mass Storage mode, but it does not come up as a drive.

I'm sure I'm overlooking something simple, does anyone have any ideas?

Hi, I've had my Galaxy S now for one week and I'm using ubuntu. After you connect your cable to the usb port on your pc, you need to select the option in the notification drawer to mount the phone. After you select it, you should get a notification window to mount your phone. Select Yes to mount your phone. An icon should appear on your desktop. You can then access your phone's internal SD card.

Vak first of all go to settings-> wireless and network-> usb settings.

Set it to ask on connection.

Then plug the phone in it will ask you what sort of connection you want to make.

Select mass storage.

And then select mount on the phone
