Just wanted to say a quick thanks for everyone who gave me some inputs in the string above - everything is now fine and stable - I only connect to 3G here in the UK when I am away from my home office (I connect to wifi whilst I am in the office), and everything is great.
This is a good forum, with good people - thanks again!
