@Haggis: Did you try unplugging, and right after that plugging it back in ? Since I have firmware JM2, I have to plug it in (Mount is not available), unplug it, plug it in again (Mount is available).

Yeah, I tried multiple times. The phone itself doesn't bring up the mount option and on the computer it brings up the "USB Not Recognize."

Ouch, then both you and the original poster (lowcar100) have the same problem. That is, no USB connection to _any_ computer (meaning there's no use fiddling with your computer, it's working okay). Since you said you already factory reset it (so not much to do there either), it basically means you have to return it for servicing.

How do you do a factory reset? Is that just turning it off/on? I did a battery pull the other day because it froze.. Not sure if that is relevant or not.

Would I lose anything on my SIM card if I did a factory reset? Or can it be out of the phone when doing the reset?

Please take a look Here. It's first on the list.

Factory reset will not harm your SIM nor external SD, but why not just take it out?

I tried the reset and still no luck.

I will go to the store next week, I'm going out of town this weekend or I'd do it sooner.

Will report back after the store.

Thanks for the help everyone Happy

I have Samsung Galaxy S Mesmerize through US Cellular.  I was unable to to have my PC recognize my Galaxy S until I unchecked "USB debugging"

btw... I need to check/use USB debugging to use PDAnet tether software

Hope this helps.
