I don't what happened to my phone but it's acting very odd all of a sudden.

The main screen shows my background image and the 4 options at very bottom  BUT I don't see the Apps I put on the screen nor can I get to the other apps when I push the Apps button. I can call and text but it seems nothing else at the moment. I tried rebooting as well as taking the battery out. When I did take the battery out..I DID see the apps on the main screen for a few seconds then they vanished.

Any ideas what this is and HOW I can fix it?!?!?

What did you do before?
Did you flash a new ROM?
