Hi, Im on darkys ROM and Darkys Extreme 9.5, and wanna reset my phone to factory, i.e, wipe all the pictures, videos, music, apps, settings etc, yet keep darkys. Ive done the factory reset but it keeps all the pics etc on the phone.

when i flashed with Darkys I assumed it would wipe everything, but i still have folders on the SGS from apps no longer on the phone, like Goweather, Zombiebooth, Zedge etc

If you do wipe: /system and /data and /dbdata will be deleted.
Your data: /mnt/sdcard won't be deleted.

I dont understand what you mean. How would i do that? I want my phone back to how it was when i opened the box, so i can carry on experimenting with Roms n kernels. at the mo it has some folders on there that i dont want, like this...

Complete Wipe.

what would happen if i just selected everything in windows explorer and deleted it, formatted the card, and then used Odin to reflash? would i still be able to boot the phone if it had no file structure at all? (ie a formatted internal SD card?)

Thanks in advance.
