this advice was the reply to a previous posting
Apps -> Camera -> click the gear on the lower left -> select the tab with the wrench -> go to page 2 -> Memory. There you can select between phone and memory card.
i am also having the same problem but when i go to the wrench tab and memory, and i see the 'phone' button to tap that would toggle to memory card, but it is greyed out and i cant switch it, ie its stuck on 'phone'
now my prob is that my gallery and camera say my phone memory is full and i am totally stumped
i went to the external sd card in settings, and it says total space and available space both 'unavailable' what am i doing wrong, i've taken the sd card out a couple of times and i have clicked on format sd card but nothing seems to make any difference help help help pleeeeze! Crying

Have you tried unmounting and remounting the external card? If you use sugarsync it can automatically upload to the cloud - something to consider while you have this problem. Then you can do a factory reset.
