I just brought my Galaxy S I9000, I am with Fido, it shows up as Roaming. I tried Rogers it works fine. Isn't Fido and Rogers share the same network? And my Fido internet doesn't work. I can't go on Internet. Happy please help.

Just called Fido Tech Support, they give me some general information of internet setting, but they are named differently

APN: Internet.fido.ca
User/Psd: fido
DNS: 204.92.15.211 (Primary)
DNS: 204.92.15.212 (Secondary)

Does anyone know how to set this up in Galaxy S?

I just got an i9000 too.  Did you manage to get it working on Fido?

hi got this information online somewhere there are 2 APn setting

APN1 [this one will have the radio button beside it]
Name: fido internet
APN: internet.fido.ca
Username: fido
Password: fido
APN Type: default
(all other fields blank)

APN2 [this one will not have any radio button beside it]
Name: fido mms
APN: mms.fido.ca
MMSC: http://mms.fido.ca
MMS Proxy: 205.151.011.013
APN Type: mms
(all other fields blank)

it works for me. and i also able to get 3G and HSPA network

Thanks! That worked.

Strange - While I'm on Fido the phone show the icon for roaming.  And I could get the data to work until I turned on data roaming.

Are you having the same problem?

I have the same problem.  I am with Fido. Both call and data are shown as roaming ... and i have to turn on the data roaming to get the internet working.

Thanks so much. I looked everywhere for a solution to my internet issues. Data roaming was disabled by default for me as well and I had to enable it.
