This headset doesn't appear on bluetooth radar for some reason.
Can anyone advise?

Android 2.2 officially installed via KIES. (I9000XXJPP / FROYO.XXJPO)

Hi

It seams that nokia headset has limited internal memory and you have to "purge" it.
So, if you previously connected your headset with 2 or more devices this is what you have to do:

Press and hold "call" button on your headset while turning the "power on". the light on your headset will blink red and then green.
After that you should be able to connect your galaxy with your headset (at least it helped me)

"Very limited amound of memory on the headset where it stores telephones with which..."

After lots more searching I~ finally found the answer. It seems that there is a very limited amound of memory on the headset where it stores telephones with which it is paired. As I had previously paired this device with (I think only) 2 devices, it wouldn` t allow any more pairings and refused to be "seen" by my galaxy S. Anyway - the solution is to reset the headset and clear out its memory in the following fashion. Press and hold the CALL button while turning the POWER ON. The LET will blink alternately red and green. This indicates that the reset is happening/has happened. After performing this, I can use the headset on the new phone no problem Happy
