Hi All,

I bought this phone 2 days back. Today I noticed a weird problem

I can make calls from the cell fone and the person receiving the call cannot hear me at all. I can hear the person though.

I thought somethings wrong with the microphone, I recorded my voice using the recording app and it worked. So, the mic is perfectly fine.

But I still could not figure out whats causing the problem. How can I hear someone speak and the same person cannot hear me when I speak?

I badly need help with this
I am very unhappy

Thanks,
Ravi

Can you leave yourself a voice message from your phone to make sure the problem is on your end?

No, Casz. I did a hard reset too and the issue was not resolved. I also tried the mic test by recording my voice using the in-built Sound recorder, the audio was recorded (mic is working). But when I tried to call, the person receiving could not hear me speak but I could hear the person speak

This is totally weird. Has this got something to do with antennagate stuff?

Just wondering Happy

Incoming - Yes
Outgoing - NO

Thanks,
Ravi

Hi,

I have purchased a samsung galaxy 3 mobile and finding the call issues. whenever i used to call someone, call is automatically disconnected within sometimes 10 sec, 20 sec n sometimes 30 sec...i think whenever signal strength is changed my call is disconnected. i have changed to my old phone n haven't found any such problem.

Where might be the issue. it seems to be the phone issue.
Pls help. what to do now.

Regards
Puneet

I am sorry I was under the impression you had the I9000.

I still recommend you take it to place you bought and check with them.
