Call Barring service is provided by your carrier. Get the password from them.

Hi ... thanks for the answer...but that was also my first thought... my service is with Bell Mobility so I went to them and they told me they have no idea what the pswd would be... not sure what to do next.  I actually took the phone into a Bellworld Store where I bought it and they called the carrier on my behalf and none of them could help.

I don't know anything about call barring but from a quick look around I would say that this feature isn't supported by Bell yet. It's like video calling, the button is there but there's no functionality yet.

Hmmm.....heidil,

Have a read HERE.

Try to use your own password.

If your carrier does not support it, you can't access it.

Sorry.

I checked on my Omnia 2 which also has the call barring ability and is unlocked. The call barring is greyed out. Still you could check with the second tier support service you need to contact to unlock phones rather than the 1st tier customer service you get with the 1-800 number.
