I have som trouble with my calendar synchronization.
By the way, it´s a Outlook account, true exchange server.

I´ve managed to get the Galaxy to sync with my mail-account.
With the calendar the events from my PC syncs to the phone,
but the events I write on my phone wont sync to the PC.

I´ve read some treads regarding syncing the phone with Gmail-calendar,
and the Gmail account with the PC....but honestly!

Anyone found a solution, or maybe give me a hint about possible solutions?

Problem solved, but not by the Galaxys integreated apps.
I downloaded Touchdown Exchange for Andriod 2, installed and set up syncronization.
Works like a clock, and more userfriendly (IMO) than the integreated mail/calendar on Galaxy

It's not freeware, costs 20 bucks - but it's worth it as long as it works.
Some people have had som troubles on other phones, but works great on my Galaxy.

A bit disapointing that such an expensive phone doesn't function better without going the way around third party developers!

Still...I'm relieved as long as it works.

Also same here.

I asked about this from Finlands Samsung support but they just said that they know this and hope it will be fixed in next software update...

Me and a friend discussed this as he has the problem as you guys but it seems that I don't, my sync to and from exchange server works, even with recurrence items and the 2.1 update version.

However I discovered another problem, that happened once in 10 attempts, if I enter an event in the phone calendar and then edit the event and set it to be saved in the xchange account instead - the item disappeared.

Any ideas on any of these questions - we would be grateful

I am having similar type of problem (calendar support is not good enough with the SGS native app) I am not being able to edit events set in the exchange for instance (outlook 2003/7 with exchange 2003)  So I am trying the touchdown 2 but also the RoadSync. Did you try this app too ?

Too bad both apps do not support Hebrew (yet) Happy

hello i have galaxsy s mobile and i have problem with sync subfolders with exchange and i am using default email client on mobile with android. any solution how to set up?

I found a post on Outlook-Center forum about syncing mobile with Public Folders on Exchange Server, downloaded the suggested app and it works well for me so far:

been there, didnt get that. Touchdown, full feature, the only app that works full feature with exchange. gitit.
